Order in the matter of Dhyana Finstock Limited.

Securities And Exchange Board Of India24 June 2019

Ratio decidendi

The rule this decision rests on

Where the investigation into a scheme of price manipulation has not sustained continuing restraint against an entity, the regulator may, under Sections 11, 11(4) and 11B of the SEBI Act read with Section 19, direct the stock exchange to release the withheld pay-out for that entity's trades on the date in question, and the direction does not extend to entities still bound by an earlier restraint order.
