Arun Kumar and Ors Etc Etc vs Union of India Thru Land Acquisition Officer

Supreme Court28 July 2017Kurian Joseph · R. Banumathi

Ratio decidendi

The rule this decision rests on

Where land acquisition compensation has been awarded in similar cases on the basis of 15% annual increase calculated cumulatively, appellants claiming insufficiency of compensation are entitled to have their compensation recalculated and substituted on the same cumulative basis of 15% annual increase, rather than any other method previously applied to their cases.
